Thank you to everyone who got in touch in response to the letter we sent about the Village Plan project. The team is encouraged that so many of you are already taking an interest.
The Casterton Village Plan team comprises seven at present – three Casterton Parish Councillors and four other volunteers – who share the belief that Casterton can be an even better place to live and work. But this is only the team starting the project and we hope that many others will get involved in various ways as things progress.
We believe strongly that those who live in the village are best placed to identify opportunities and make things happen, and this belief is guiding our approach.
In our letter we outlined the steps in the plan; hopefully you will be able to 1) express your views via the planned questionnaire, 2) comment on/refine the resulting proposals when they are published, and 3) perhaps get involved in some of the resulting projects that will really make things happen. Whatever your interests and skills, there is bound to be something should you wish to contribute.
The suggestions made by those who replied are already being incorporated into the questionnaire.
