Temporary road closure
A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Broadband for the Rural North Limited to carry out utility works which are expected to commence 19th January 2026 and anticipated to take 5 days to complete.

Location: U5395 Gateheads Brow, High Casterton, from its junction with North Heads Lane (U5397), extending in an easterly direction for approx. 85 metres.
Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route will be signed and made available via the unrestricted section of Gateheads Brow (U5395), Wandales Lane (C5084), Well Lane (U5399) and the U5397.
It has been identified that it will not be safe to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists throughout the restriction.
N.B Passage for Emergency Vehicles will not be maintained for the duration of this restriction.
