A full house in Casterton Village Hall on Thursday evening enjoyed another live theatre production courtesy of the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme.
“Steel” is a coming-of-age play by Lee Mattinson. It is a fast paced one act story following two Cumbrian teens on a quest through friendship, identity, and a forgotten industrial past, and faced some challenging issues head on. It was well presented and delivered in the round, and by turns convoluted, raucous, and emotional. The excellence of the acting made for a memorable evening.
