An application has been made to the planning authority as a Permission in Principle (PIP) to build up to nine detached houses on a greenfield site in Casterton. The proposed site is the field more or less opposite Casterton School’s main car on North Heads Lane. The application (S/05/78/PIP) has no detail about the proposed buildings or their positioning within the site, but the planning application contains a map which shows six buildings on the site.

Casterton Parish council will submit its recommendation to The Authority just before the deadline. If you wish to make your opinion known to the Parish Council, then it can be taken into consideration by the council before it makes its decision.
