Casterton Parish Council would like to invite volunteers to help in our big spring clean-up of the area around Langthwaite Bridge (also known by some as Cuckoo Bridge). The area has been cared for by Edward Begg since he planted poppy seeds there in 2014 to commemorate the First World War. Edward and some of his family will be there on Sunday and are grateful for the help of Casterton neighbours and friends.

Please bring spades, wheelbarrows and garden rakes, if you have them, and wear wellies! Refreshments will be provided.

Meet at the bridge at 10am. Any time you can spare will be much appreciated.
