The owners of the Pheasant Inn have submitted a full planning application for conversion and subdivision of the existing public house into three houses: two four-bedroomed and one three-bedroomed.

The planning application (reference number S/05/62) was lodged on 29th November and comments and objections can be sent to the Yorkshire Dales National Parks Authority up to 26th December, but the earlier the better. You can view the full application and plans here. If you are unhappy about the potential loss of Casterton’s only pub, it is important to submit your comments / objections to the planning authority.
