Geoff Hodgson, who lives at Skirden Barn in Casterton with his husband Stephen Garry, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in September. Parkinson’s is devastating and affects millions of people around the world every year. Much more research and funding is needed, so Geoff and Stephen are trying to raise as much as possible.
They are hosting an afternoon tea party at Skirden Barn with the hope that at least £5,000 can be raised towards Parkinson’s UK.
They have already raised the sum of approximately £2,000 via JustGiving and have had a huge amount of lovely raffle prizes donated for the raffle being held on the day. “These have all been donated by local businesses in and around Kirkby Lonsdale, as well as by friends and family” said Stephen.
If you can’t attend, donations are welcome at Stephen’s JustGiving page
