Emergency road closure
An emergency road closure has been put in place due to the likelihood of danger to the public, due to the dangerous condition of the carriageway.
This notice will be in force for a period of up to 21 days from 29th January 2025, as and when the relevant signs are displayed. It is anticipated that the restriction will be required for 21 days.

Location: U5398, Casterton, from a point approx.150 metres north east of its junction with the U5397, extending in a north easterly direction for a distance of approx.80 metres.
Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route for traffic will be available via the unrestricted sections of the U5398, A683, Flush Brow and Bents Lane.
N.B. Due to the nature of the works it is not possible to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists through the site.
Emergency Vehicles will not be maintained for the duration of these works.
