The Parish Council has been in discussion with WFC about the road safety hazard caused by road users cutting the corner at the Gate Heads Brow/Wandales Lane junction.
W&F Council determined that no action was justified at the junction, since there is no history of accidents or incidents. If a body of evidence can be built up documenting any instances of near misses (or hopefully not) accidents at this junction, then we can bring pressure on the authority to make improvements.
To this end Casterton Parish Council would like to encourage any resident who witnesses incidents to send a brief report to the Parish Clerk, who will collate them and send them to W&F Council.
