Nick Blake is an award-winning underwater photographer who began diving as a teenager, inspired by the 70’s TV series “The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau”. Nick began diving primarily around the UK, in the many quarries and lakes of the north west as well as UK coasts. In latter years Nick has dived in more tropical climates including Indonesia, Mexico, Egypt and the Pacific Ocean though UK marine life remains a strong underwater photography favourite.
Nick, who placed as runner up in the 2024 British and Irish Underwater Photography Championship and was the winner of British Underwater Photographer of the Year in 2017, will be showcasing his underwater photography at Casterton Village Hall on 27th November.
Entry £3 per person, cash or card payments accepted. Tea and biscuits served from 19:00. Nick’s talk will begin at 19:30 followed by a brief Q&A. Nick will be in The Pheasant after the talk and will be happy to chat about underwater photography and diving.
