DESCRIPTION:Casterton WI welcomes members and visitors to:\nWonders of Wax – Encaustic Art\nA talk and demonstration by Sue Tyldesley\nSue has been painting with coloured wax (encaustic art) for over 20 years and loves to share this exciting process with others. She also exhibits in the Silverdale and Arnside Art and Craft Trail and elsewhere.\nSue will show how encaustic art can be used to create loose flowing images in vibrant colours using a variety of heated surfaces and tools. She enjoys experimenting with different approaches, mixed media and stitch and will include some of these techniques.\nSue will share her love of painting with wax and the session will include some opportunity for those interested to make a card using simple encaustic techniques.\nMembers and visitors are welcome, (donation requested from non members).\n
