Alex is a carer working in Cedar Point Care Home, where corridors roar with laughter and ache with sadness; where outrageous antics mingle with tough conversations.\nBeyond Caring is a powerful new play by Durham-based playwright Christina Castling, that takes a look at life behind the doors of a care home and with frankness, humour and heartbreak uncovers the reality of caring for others, looking after ourselves and getting older.
